Anna Wing Disqualified

We just got news that British actress Anna Wing died in July. Since this is obviously longer than our "7 days or not enough fame" rule, she's been disqualified. Nathan Raupach was the only player to have picked her, but unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) he's not high enough in the standings right now to be adversely affected.

Biggsest Hit of the Year

British Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs is dead at 84, making our 4th hit in as many days, as 3 players picked him: Val Voyts gets her HIS (sorry, Val!) 4th hit, Grady Harmon picks up his third, and Nathan Raupach makes the board for the first time this year.

Congratulations, everybody!

Fontaine continues the Wild Day!

Well, looks like yesterday's craziness is not over yet... last night it was announced that Oscar-winner Joan Fontaine died at the age of 96, and Sheila Place picks up a solo on her second hit of the year.

This is the first time that we've had four celebrities go on the same day. Well... MAYBE... turns out that it's STILL unconfirmed whether Ray Price is actually dead yet or not. I'm going to leave him in the system as such for a little bit longer, but I might have to fix that if it's not confirmed soon.

Congrats, Sheila!
